Krishna who plays the crutial role in mahavarat, also known as the eighth avatar (incarnation) of lord Vishnu was born to kill his own maternal uncle. Krishna Janmasthami is the festival celebrated as Krishna's Birthday where many devotees observe fasts, engage in prayers, and participate in various cultural events to commemorate this auspicious day.
